Active Components is the largest locally owned electronics distributor in New Zealand and also heavily active in Australia. We do most of our sourcing through the Hong Kong office, along with our logistics hub setup here. We deal with and distribute a wide range of products, from electronic components, cable assemblies to other custom solution projects, to customers worldwide.
We are looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic Logistics team. This role will be multifaceted , but primarily focuses on operating the logistics side of goods and raw material on multiple routes, ensuring goods get delivered to customers in timely manner. You will play a key role in coordinating and optimizing our supply chain operation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and follow up purchase orders with suppliers closely, i.e. order fulfilment
- Liaising with forwarders on freight quotation to minimize cost
- Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth flow of goods
- Organizing inbound/outbound shipment and documentations
- Liaising with suppliers on compliance matter (e.g. RoHS, REACH, CMRT)
- Data entry; invoice matching; part set-up/maintenance and other ERP system related tasks
- Maintaining supplier/forwarder/vendor relationship
- Handling ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related role is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree holder is preferred
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin with strong communication skill
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or logistics software is a plus
- Proactive, well-organized, good sense of responsibility
- Knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and Incoterms
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Immediate availability is preferred
- Less experience will be considered as Logistics Assistant
