Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Localization Product Manager to lead our efforts in localizing HCM (Human Capital Management) products for APJ markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HCM products and the unique HR regulatory requirements of these regions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure our HCM products are effectively localized and meet the high standards of our customers in these regions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Insights and Business Analysis:

    - Conduct thorough market research and business analysis specific to HCM in APJ.

    - Analyze the competitive landscape and regulatory environment to identify opportunities and challenges for product localization.

  • Product Localization and Planning:

    - Define localization requirements for HCM, ensuring alignment with regional regulations and customer expectations.

    - Develop and execute a localization strategy and roadmap for HCM tailored to APJ markets.

    - Monitor regulatory requirement changes in APJ with inputs from Field organization. Ensure timely adaptation of regulatory changes into our product offerings.

  • Collaboration and Coordination:

    - Work closely with engineering teams to ensure localization requirements are integrated into the product development process.

    - Coordinate with local teams to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of localized products.

  • Product Lifecycle Management:

    - Oversee the lifecycle of the localized HCM products, including product launch, pricing, updates, and phase-outs.

    - Ensure timely delivery and high quality of localized products, managing localization scopes and timelines.

  • Business Support:

    - Assist in developing localized marketing strategies and pre-sales solutions.

    - Engage with key customers and stakeholders in the region to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

    - Support sales and customer support teams with training and materials specific to localized products.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, HR, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    - At least 5 years of experience in product management, consulting, or a similar role working on HCM products such as SAP (incl. SuccessFactors), Workday, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.

    - Familiar with hire-to-retire end to end process, and key componenets as core HR, payroll, recruiting, onboarding, talent development, reporting, etc.

    - Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (labour law, social insurance, payroll tax, ) for at least 2 countries / regions in APJ.

  • Skills:

    - Proficient in Mandarin and English is mandatory. Cantonese speaking is an advantage.

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Good project management and organizational skills.

  • Preferred:

    - Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

    - Familiarity with HCM technologies and software development processes.

    - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
