Job duties:

1/Lighting Design

• Assist in developing lighting concepts and contribute to design presentations under the guidance of senior team members.
• Edit 3D renderings to visually communicate design intent.
• Prepare lighting drawings using CAD and hand sketches, including plans, elevations, and sections.
• Support the production of lighting documentation across all design phases, including tender packages.
• Conduct lighting simulations using Dialux Evo or similar software to validate design proposals.
• Ensure lighting designs meet required illumination levels and comply with relevant standards.
• Maintain awareness of lighting fixtures and control systems suitable for various design intents.
• Research and suggest lighting products and solutions aligned with project goals and budgets.
• Participate in client presentations and internal design reviews.
• Conduct lighting audits of existing spaces when required.
• Be able to travel and work off regular hours for site inspection and lighting focusing
• Support site coordination and assist with focusing, testing, and commissioning under supervision.
• Be able to work overtime for finishing projects deadline if required
• Record daily work hours in the company’s Time Tracker System with required details.
• Target to get LEED GA certificate in the first year of joining (study materials & course can be provided by company. The increase of salary to be reviewed with position supervisor after achieving the certificate.)

2/ Project Coordination

• Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to support project development.
• Attend internal and client meetings to take notes and follow up on lighting-related tasks.
• Coordinate with consultants and suppliers to gather technical information and samples.
• Assist in preparing lighting budgets and technical documentation for tender stages.
• Support communication with contractors and clients during the construction phase.

3) Quality & Process

• Follow company standards for lighting design documentation and quality assurance.
• Ensure deliverables are organized and submitted in accordance with project timelines.
• Assist in maintaining design documentation and ensuring consistency across project stages.
