Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Implement all technical aspects (including the power and data distribution) of lighting concepts as well as programing the lighting console for Company’s productions;
- Work closely with the Lighting Designer/Assistant Lighting Designer to pre-program productions before move-in & during the production period;
- Act as Lighting Console operator for Company’s production;
- Keep archives and document the power and data distribution for all lighting designs for Company’s productions;
- Assist the Technical Team to maintain and update Company’s lighting equipment inventory.
Requirements
- Degree holder in relevant discipline with more than 2 years of proven experience in lighting production preferred;
- High level understanding of all related disciplines in theatre production;
- High proficiency in programming ETC EOS Family lighting consoles, grandMA series lighting consoles;
- Good working knowledge of moving and conventional lighting components, Ethernet, DMX protocols;
- Good working knowledge of moving lights and LED products and keeping abreast of current changes in relevant technology. Knowledge of moving lights such as: Vari*Lite, Martin, Clay Paky, and ROBE, etc.;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua an advantage;
- Good organizational and communication skills, initiative and creativity, with the ability to work independently and under pressure;
- Intermediate MS Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word; knowledge of Access an advantage.
Remuneration Package
Remuneration package commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience.
