We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Studies:

Laboratory Nurse (N&HS) (Ref: 24001PM)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Involving in the daily operation of Clinical Nursing Education Centre and Clinical Simulation Education Units;
  • Assisting in preparation and facilitation of teaching and learning activities of School of Nursing and Health Studies;
  • Assisting in purchasing orders and keeping an inventory;
  • Ensuring smooth running and laboratory safety; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.

The appointee will be required to work under different schedules due to specific operational requirements which might be scheduled on weekday or weekends.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • A Higher Diploma or above in Nursing Studies or equivalent (practiced as Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse);
  • A good command of written and spoken English & Chinese;
  • Good computer proficiency;
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; and
  • Working experience in providing simulation training or handling medical equipment procurement is an advantage.

Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
