IT Security Assistant (Internship from July - August)

The successful applicant will collaborate with our security team to update ISMS policies, develop guidelines, conduct vulnerability testing, and ensure end-user PC security, contributing to a robust and compliant security framework.

Job Description

· Develop Guidelines: Write clear and actionable security guidelines and procedures to support ISMS implementation and user awareness.

· Perform Vulnerability Testing: Conduct vulnerability assessments on systems and application, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

· Configure, monitor and maintain network firewalls to protect systems and ensure security network operations.

· Manage End-User PC Security: Implement and monitor security controls for end-user devices, including antivirus, patch management, and access controls.

· Preparing documentations, tracking controls, and ensuring adherence to ISMS requirements.

· Support training and awareness initiatives to educate employees on security policies and best practices.

Skills & Requirements

Fields of Study: Higher Diploma in Information Technology / Degree in Information Systems Management / Information Technology / Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related degrees.

· Proficiency with Windows / Linux, including command-line operations.

· Experience with network firewall management

· Knowledge of vulnerability testing tools and risk assessment methodologies.

· Experience with shell scripting or endpoint security tools.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and propose solutions.

· Fluency in English and Chinese for effective collaboration.

· Fresh graduates with relevant coursework or projects are welcome.
