Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Assists design leader in translating a design concept into reality
• Prepares and coordinates the development and preparation of preliminary design concepts
• Coordinates the development of technical/ design solutions
• Selects and research project design materials, furnishings, and accessories
• Coordinates and prepares design documents, sketches, plans, details, and schedules under the direction of the design leader

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or equivalent in education or experience
• 5 to 8 years of interior design experience required.
• Good knowledge of hospitality design is a bonus
• Demonstrable skills in creative design solutions, including design/selection of FF&E
• LEED accreditation is an advantage
• Ability to communicate effectively in presentations and in writing
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, with Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus
• Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Affinity required
• Proficiency in Revit and other 3D modeling software such as Sketch-Up and Enscape required
