Environmental Officer / Assistant Safety Officer

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing company policy on environmental, occupational health and safety management;
• Advise on measures to be taken to comply with legislative and contractual obligations in relation to environmental protection, occupational health and safety and site hygiene and implement such measures with project teams;
• Prepare submissions (such as BEAM-Plus EM&A Report) in relation to environmental, occupational health and safety management and legal compliance;
• Conduct / coordinate EM&A, prepare environmental / safety report and organize training programme for staff / workers; and
• Conduct accident / incident / complaint investigation and report findings.

Requirements

• Degree / higher diploma in Environmental Discipline (Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management);
• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese) with good communication and training skills;
• Independent and self-initiative to improve environmental performance of the company;
• Existing experience / qualification in occupational safety & health, arboricultural / soil de-containment / asbestos abatement / BEAM-Plus submissions will be an advantage, but not essential;
• Immediate available preferred
