EHS Manager (Environmental, Health and Safety) - HK

Job Summary:

To successfully deliver projects and contracted services to company’s internal and external stakeholders including global corporate clients on the agreed site(s), ensuring to meet the key requirements in environmental protection, health and safety perspectives.

Job Responsibilities:

The applicant will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the EHS function strategies and related activities
  • Develop an improvement culture across all projects to ensure a healthy, safe and accident-free working environment
  • Lead and supervise appointed contractor/consultant’s Health & Safety teams
  • Implement the EHS guidelines, policies and management system, including corporate and local regulation’s requirement.
  • Lead the record of EHS incident, investigation and development of corrective action plan
  • Manage construction site emergency response plan to deal with emergency situations for the safety and health
  • Preparing regular EHS performance reports for client review of the past performances and the progresses of improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement all rounded trainings, workshops, good practices andmonitor and report the KPIs for the HK region
  • Prepare corporate EHS reports and statistics for the HK region and present the reports to the boards and executives

Required Experience, Qualifications and Education

  • Bachler Degree or above in environment, engineering, occupational health & safety or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in safety management in construction projects
  • Solid experience in the implementation of corporate policies, procedures and local EHS policies and standards, international EHS knowledge as a plus
  • In depth knowledge and recognized qualifications in safety management, including qualifications such as ISO 45001/14001, registered safety engineer or equivalent
  • Good command of Mandarin, English and Cantonese languages, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office, presentation and communication skills
