DEEP CEMENT MIXING (DCM) SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing diverse duties in supervising the operation of high-tech production equipment

• Supervise and provide guidance to local operators who shall operate heavy duty piling rig i.e. Nippon Sharyo DH758-170M to perform the ground drilling operation and drive the piling rig on rugged ground surface in a safe manner. The piling rig is 42m high which requires sophisticated skill to drive and operate to ensure no toppling of rig from happening

• Supervise and provide guidance to the operation and maintenance of marine slurry batching system on a flat-top barge. The cement shall be supplied by vessel and is subsequently mixed with water on the flat-top barge to produce the slurry which will be mixed with the underground soil to perform the DCM work. The very long pumping distance (approximately 1 km or longer) requires sophisticated pumping equipment and techniques

• To ensure high production volume, product quality and equipment utilization. The Supervisor shall supervise the effective utilization of the auger drilling system, wireless signaling pumping system to inject the cement slurry into ground and mix with the soil in-situ. He/she shall response quickly to any data retrieved during the DCM process and ensure a smooth and continuous operation. Experienced supervisor can guarantee the production of cement/soil column with uniform amount of cement dosage, and a constant blade revolution number along the entire cement/soil column. As such, a good quality end-product with high production volume is maintained

Requirements

• Secondary school or above

• Possess at least 8 years' relevant experience in operation, control and monitoring of Deep Cement Mixing Technology system and process

• Holder of relevant licenses as qualifications including but not limited to crane operator, Drilling Equipment Operator
