Cyber Security Analyst

Internal Title: IT Security Operations Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor, detect, and respond to known and emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Create, maintain, and optimize operational reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Develop, update, and implement robust cybersecurity measures, controls, and best practices.
• Establish, adapt, and maintain corporate cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence (TI) to inform and update stakeholders.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities in collaboration with IT teams.
• Support organizational security goals and initiatives by performing assigned duties as directed by the manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CEH, CSX-P, CySA+) are highly desirable.
• 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology; fresh graduates with relevant coursework or internships are encouraged to apply.
• Working knowledge of security tools and solutions such as SIEM, DLP, EDR, WAF, PAM, IPS, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, networking technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., SFC, HKEX, PCPD HK) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
