Job Description
Overall Management of Crewing

Overall management of group crew department in accordance with the guidance and instruction from management

Develop operational policies, procedures, standards and system of crewing department to meet the objectives of the Group
-
Negotiate, review and implement collective agreements with crew unions and other crewing agreement
-
Ensure all crew operations comply with international maritime regulations and safety standards
-
Promote the well-being of crew members by ensuring proper living conditions, medical care, and access to essential amenities
-
Manage the budget for crew operations, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
-
Oversee and maintain accurate records of crew qualifications, certifications, and contractual agreements, and prepare reports for senior management
-
Facilitate effective communication between the crew, vessel management, and shore-based staff
-
Handle any emergencies or crises involving crew members, ensuring swift and appropriate responses
-
Develop and implement crew recruiting strategy to support business expansion of WKMT Group;

Managing crewing aspects of maintaining Oil Major Approval, standard for tankers, Rightship standard for dry-bulkships and TMSA for company
-
Other jobs as assigned by management.
Maritime Education and Crew Training
-
Responsible for implementing the maritime education project of WKMT Group;

Responsible for strategic cooperation with colleges and universities, setting up courses and curriculum in order to train oriented crew and talents for WKMT and maritime industry;

Assist as necessary for Group crew training, develop and implement crew training program of WKMT Group, work with training organizations;
Qualifications
-
Experience: Extensive experience in crew management within the maritime industry, including previous roles such as Crew Director, Senior Crew Manager or similar. Previous experience in Chinese, Philippine, Indian and other Southeast Asia manning.

Education: Master Mariner, Chief Engineer Sea experience preferred.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in relevant software.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of maritime regulations, safety standards, and crew welfare practices.
