Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for (a) providing professional counselling and support services for SEN students with mental illness, (b) guiding the design of mental health promotional activities with students and different stakeholders, (c) providing mental health awareness talks to staff (academic and supporting staff), (e) working closely with the counselling team members in the Student Affairs Office, (f) assisting in data collection for outcome evaluation of interventions, (g) carrying out other assigned duties.

Appointment Criteria:

Applicants should (a) have a recognised bachelor’s degree or above qualification in social work or counselling; (b) be a  Registered Social Worker or a member of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association; (c) have at least 3 years of relevant experience in body-mind-spirt intervention for social service organization or school setting in Hong Kong; (d) have a mature and pleasant personality with good team spirit, communication skills and interpersonal relationship, be proactive in work and able to work independently, efficiently and responsibly; (e) have a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and (f) be proficient in computer skills.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
