Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing and cooking approximately 30-40staff meals, Chinese cuisine preferable
• Responsible for lunch menu design on a weekly basis
• Monitor food quality and cost control
• Ensure smooth daily kitchen operations and maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness & hygiene in the kitchen and pantry area
• Clean and sanitize kitchen & cooking utensils/ equipment
• Responsible for inventory management of food, seasoning and cleaning materials
• Assist in supporting event set-up & clean-up or any other cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor
• Working Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm (Negotiable)
• Work Location: Kennedy Road, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong

Requirements

• Able to strictly abide by hygiene standards to ensure food safety
• Familiar with proper food handling, sanitation, cooking and storage procedures
• Fluent in Cantonese. Basic English is an advantage
• A good team player who is responsible, proactive and able to work independently
• Must share the commitment of our organization in upholding the safety and protection of children as paramount.

工作範圍

• 負責員工午膳 (約30-40人份量)，中餐粵菜為主
• 為員工制定每週午膳菜單、準備食材及烹調食物
• 監控食品質量及維持成本效益，以免造成浪費
• 負責清洗所有煮食器具和設備，維持廚房及茶水間的日常運作、安全、清潔和衛生
• 管理食材、配料及其他清潔用品庫存
• 參與活動場地設置及清理，以及其他由上司所指派的清潔工作
• 工作時間：逢星期一至五，早上八時至下午四時半（可於商議後作輕微調整）
• 工作地點：香港半山堅尼地道

工作要求

• 能嚴格遵守食物安全及衛生守則
• 熟悉食品處理、衛生、烹調及儲存程序
• 操流利粵語，懂基本英語尤佳
• 富團隊精神、責任心、積極勤奮及可獨立工作
• 必須與「母親的抉擇」共同承擔以維護兒童安全及保護兒童為首的決心
