Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new non-Chinese e-Commerce platform opportunities for business expansion and increasing sales.

  • Track new markets and competitive landscape; recommend products and services.
  • Making business proposal and plan for appropriate structure and strategic  direction. Focus on getting in large overseas e-commerce platforms with cross border needs to Europe and Americas.
  • Building solid relationships with business partners, customers based on the existing networks that the business development director has on hand.
  • Collaborate with the commercial and business solution teams to create business proposals for strategic account development and implementation.
  • Achieve yearly sales targets by acquiring new business opportunities.
  • Establish annual sales plan according to target and budget; Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Prepare sales reports focusing at sales activities and manage business pipeline with the help of CRM.
  • Work with the legal department to make sure the contracts are compliant and signed before the trade commences.
  • Work together with the Finance team to ensure that customer are billed precisely and revenue is received within the required WSO
  • Conduct overseas business trips and customer visits to strengthen relationships, explore opportunities and acquire the new businesses.
  • Represent Spring and attend overseas seminars, workshops, conferences for business networking.

Requirements

  • University degree holder
  • At least 8 years of sales and business development experience in e-commerce industry, especially with proven track record of overseas major e-marketplaces or major e-platforms that corresponds to the criteria above.
  • Have a solid network of contacts on hand that can convert to revenue within 6 months.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate market insights of overseas platforms into actionable sales strategies.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, hands-on, and flexible while being an effective team player.
  • Proactive, open-minded and result-oriented mindset with a strong desire to win.
  • Experience in working with multi-cultural international teams is mandatory.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English, fluency in an additional foreign language is an advantage.
  • Prepare to travel up to 50% of the time.
