Business Analyst

Job Summary:

Seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, writing test cases, performing manual testing, and managing project execution to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving projects to meet quality standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and discussions.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and test cases.
• Write comprehensive test cases and scenarios to validate system functionality and business requirements.
• Perform manual testing to ensure solutions meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Organize and lead project meetings to review progress, address issues, and make key decisions.
• Monitor project progress and performance, taking corrective action to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
• Coordinate efforts of cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and quality assurance personnel.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined and managed effectively.
• Document project processes, decisions, lessons learned, and test results to support continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Must have hands-on experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Proficiency in writing detailed test cases and scenarios for software validation.
• Strong experience in performing manual testing to ensure product quality.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery with strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Good at spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP, PSM or other project management certification.
• Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts) or test management software.
• Exposure to data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Chrome, App).
• Experience on developing and managing project plans, defining scope, timeline, budget, and resource requirements is a plus.
• Candidates with an interest or background in gaming are highly preferred !!!
• Immediate availability is highly preferred !!!
