Job Title: Business Analyst - Business Intelligence (AI Enhanced)

Overview

We are seeking a proactive Business Analyst - Business Intelligence, to join our eCommerce team. In this role, you will transform data to deliver actionable information, converting complex datasets into clear, impactful information to drive business decisions. Your primary focus will be to maintain and enhance existing Business Intelligence (PowerBI) dashboards and various reports while supporting the adoption of AI-driven solutions to automate manual processes, reduce Excel report reliance, and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

·    Maintain and Enhance BI Dashboards/Reports:Maintain and continuously improve existing PowerBI dashboards and reports, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with business needs.

·    Enhance Data Structures:Streamline data structures, develop and maintain data mappings, and create comprehensive data glossaries for consistency and accessibility.

·    Drive Analytics and Reporting:Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, Inventory Planning, Sales) to translate complex business requirements into predictive analytics to delivering accurate and timely information for strategic decision-making.

·    Automate Manual Reporting:Lead initiatives to reduce and automate manual Excel-based reporting by implementing AI and machine learning solutions

·    Develop Data Scraping Tools:Build and maintain scraping tools to extract critical data from eCommerce platforms such as Amazon. Example ensuring product availability, pricing accuracy, and purchase-ability.

·    AI Adoption:Introduce and increase use of AI tools, including large language models, generative AI, and automated machine learning tools, to enhance data collection, automate reporting, and convert raw data into actionable business information.

·    AI Trends:Stay updated on latest trends in AI, data analytics, and eCommerce. Experiment with innovative tools and uses to improve workflows and output capabilities.

·    Support Ad Hoc Projects:Provide analytical support for special projects

Requirements

·    Education:Degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or a related field.

·    Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau). PowerBI experience is preferred.
• Experience in SQL, Data Warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Some hands-on experience with AI tools or automated machine learning platforms.
• Ability to develop data scraping tools for eCommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon).

·    Technical Skills:

Python experience, with strong numerical sense, is highly desirable.

·    Communication & Collaboration:Team player, able to work independently and translate complex AI-driven insights into business-friendly terms.
