Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant E-Commerce & Merchandising Manager to consolidate and elevate our wholesale, retail buying, and digital operations. This hybrid role combines strategic buying for the HK retail stores, wholesale partners, and e-commerce site. Key Responsibilities:

  • Wholesale Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts for three wholesale clients;

  • Place stock orders and replenishments from China office;

  • Coordinate deliveries and logistics;

  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.

 

E-Commerce Operations

  • Manage the Shopline platform end-to-end, including product uploads/catalog maintenance, order processing and fulfillment, customer service (inquiries, returns, escalations), and ideation/execution of promotions (e.g., bundles, flash sales, email campaigns) to boost conversion and sales.

 

Store Buying & Merchandising

  • Curate assortments and manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets for our HK;

  • Analyze sales trends and performance data to optimize replenishment and inventory allocation;

  • Provide feedback to the China team for future collections.

  • Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on channel-aligned campaigns;

  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on stock levels, sales KPIs, and e-comm metrics

  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, such as store expansion planning.

 

Requirements:

Experience

  • 5 years in fashion retail, with proven expertise in buying/merchandising (including OTB planning) and e-commerce operations;

  • Prior work with Shopline or similar platforms (e.g., Shopify) is essential;

  • Experience in handbag/clothing categories is preferred;

  • Experience in e-commerce in Asian markets is an advantage.

 

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills for inventory forecasting and sales trend analysis;

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting;

  • Hands-on digital savvy for platform management and basic SEO/promotion tactics.

  • Mandarin/Cantonese fluency is a plus for China team coordination.
