Job Description

 1. Responsibilities:

i) oversee the whole-person development and life planning matters

ii) provide psychological counselling services to all students, including students with Special Education Needs (SEN)

iii) keep accurate and confidential records and documentation of counselling sessions/assessments and interventions

iv) collaborate with academic departments and different units to organize and deliver psychoeducational presentation and workshops

v) manage and respond to crisis intervention and prevention

vi) help developing the mechanism of counselling and wellness related matters

vii) perform any other duties as assigned

 

2. Requirements:

i) a bachelor degree with minimum 3 years’ experience in a student development and advising setting or equivalent, and combination of counselling, social work, psychology or relevant disciplines

ii) caring, self-motivated, good team player with strong communication skills and well-organized

iii) good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin

iv) irregular working hours may be required
