Accounting Executive / Accounting Assistant (Ref no.: IHL/2025/09)

Applications are invited for appointment as Accounting Executive / Accounting Assistant (Ref.: IHL/2025/09), to commence as soon as possible, on a standard two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and the company’s contribution to the MPF scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.

Accounting Executive / Accounting Assistant (Ref no.: IHL/2025/09)

Responsibilities

• Held responsible for invoice checking, processing payments and payment journals
• Check system generated journals
• Prepare bank reconciliation
• Handle petty cash and staff reimbursements
• Prepare journal entries in system
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management

Requirements

• 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE including English
• LCC&I Level 3 or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience. Accounting background in academic institutions/ government-funded bodies, and/or experience in setting up new accounting software are desirable
• Familiar with computer applications (including Microsoft Word and Excel) and accounting software (e.g. Oracle, SAP, etc). Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under tight schedules
• Strong sense of responsibility and highly self-motivated
